it’s kind of an age of awesome technology where everyone can claim they’re a photographer.  i won’t do that, but i did study it for quite a few years.  shot and processed by own 35mm and 4x5 film and then eventually, more quickly than eventually, i moved on to digital. 

potrait photography and all that never really grabbed my attention.  i don’t have patience for it, but i totally appreciate what others can do with it.  i’m more just interested in snapshots and documentation type of photography, the spontaneous stuff.
